Abstract

|
In this study the author tried to determine some important normal ranges of blood chemistry from our routine laboratory data. They were analyzed and normal ranges were estimated by various statistical methods such as Hoffmann¢¥s, Neumann¢¥s, the present author¢¥s and modified Waid¢¥s methods (see text). The estimated normal ranges were evaluated to draw out more reasonable normal ranges and finally the following were determined as normal in our laboratory.
6. 5-8. Ogm/dl in serum total: protein, 3.0-5.Ogm/dl in serum albumin and 1.8 ~3.7gm/dl in serum globulin; 70¢¥ll5mg/dl in blood glucose, 0.5¢¥ O.8mg/dl in serum creatinine and 5¢¥-20mg/dl in blood urea nitrogen; 1. O¢¥6.5M U. in serum thymol turbidity; 1040 R,kF U. in serum GOT and 7-40 R-F U. in serum GPT; 4 -13 K-A U. in serum alkaline phosphatase.
